The KW Chess Club in partnership with the City of Kitchener and the Kitchener Downtown
Business Association are pleased to bring the Civic Square Outdoor Chess Program to
downtown Kitchener!
People of all ages are welcome to participate in this program, and best of all it's
FREE! You don't have to be an expert to play chess, so come on down to Kitchener City Hall
and experience this fun and exciting game.
Chess master and program coordinator, Hans Jung will be at the chess tables
Monday to Thursday to help you
learn the game, give you a chess lesson or even play a match!
Ontario Under 16 2007 Champion, Justin McDonald will be available at
the tables on Saturday and Sunday afternoons to offer games or
mini-lessons too.
